Project description This project is focused on improving the research and practical skills of Faculty and students at Egerton University and Baraka Agricultural College through collaborative action research within the seed potato value chain. The production skills and access to quality seed potato for small holder farmers in Nakuru County will also be enhanced by training in good agricultural practices, enterprise development, market linkages and contract farming. At the County level, the project through collaboration with the NPCK, County Government and other stakeholder is developing the Nakuru Potato Strategy. Lobbying for evidence based inclusive policies in the seed potato value chain in Nakuru County is ongoing.
