Expected outputs• The output will culminate in production of peer reviewed journals as well as species ethograms (photo gallery, videos of behaviors etc) that will be shared with research institutions such as; National Museums of Kenya (NMK) and university for use in monitoring and conservation initiatives. • This study will contribute to the knowledge of the distribution and natural history of the herpetofauna in the protected and cultivated zone of the Kenyan coastal hinterland specifically on Endangered Forest Spiny Reed frog (A. silvaticus) • The study will generate information on breeding phenology and success factors of endangered species as well as their current population dynamics which can be used to upscale or downscale by IUCN red list of the species and can be used by later scholars for related studies on the same species.
